Don Levine's SCA Story AMR Multnomah County, OR

Share

02/03/2016

In a series of well-timed events, Don Levine made a full recovery after suffering from sudden cardiac arrest. Don had just completed a 23 mile bike ride and stopped to find some shade under a patio umbrella at the Rose City Golf Course. It was only minutes later that a golfer at the course noticed Don slumped over in a chair, unresponsive. The golfer immediately started CPR while an employee of the nearby pro shop ran for the AED stashed behind the counter.

AMR Paramedics Trevor Palin and Michael Raines arrived the scene within minutes of the 911 call and immediately began to help save Don's life. Don made a full recovery and was recently reunited with Trevor and Michael to thank them for saving his life and providing excellent care that day in Multnomah County.
