11/01/2015

Steve Ogilvie experienced chest pain in February 2015 during a coworker’s memorial and went into cardiac arrest. AMR and Loma Linda Fire were able to get Ogilvie ROSC within 9 minutes. Bill Deno experienced a similar situation in December 2014 when he collapsed after complaining of heartburn earlier that morning. AMR and Pueblo Fire found Deno on the floor upon arrival with no pulse and agonal respirations. After 18 minutes following cardiac arrest guidelines, they had Mr. Deno's pulse back. Both men visited the respective AMR locations to thank the people who saved their lives.

"You guys make a difference every day. You go out there and keep people alive," Steve said.
