AMR in the Modesto Community

AMR Modesto/Turlock provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport service for Modesto/Turlock, California, area, as well as for the cities of Modesto, Ceres, Turlock, Salida, Empire and Keyes. AMR Stanislaus has proudly served this community for over 50 years. This operation employs approximately 225 paramedics and EMTs and handles an average of 45,000 transports annually.

AMR Modesto/Turlock takes an active role in studies and research projects to improve EMS service in their area. Currently, the operation is working with other counties and agencies on a joint study of the effectiveness of ACLS teaching methods. The operation has developed strong relationships with their allied agency staffs and community partners.
