AMR in the Denver Community

AMR Denver provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport services for the Denver, Colorado, metro area. AMR Denver employs approximately 200 paramedics and EMTs and handles an average of 40,000 calls annually.

AMR Denver has received several recognition awards for their participation with Denver Public Schools. In addition, the operation received its fifth National Academies of Emergency Dispatch (NAED) award in July 2009 and its third CAAS accreditation. AMR Denver provides stand-by service for many local events such as the 9News Health Fair and a variety of triathlons, bike and auto races and corporate events. The operation also offers a number of training courses including CPR, ACLS, PALS, ITLS, basic EKG training and advanced EKG training to the local community.
