
AMR in the Maui Community
AMR Hawaii provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport service for four counties and seven islands in the state of Hawaii. Areas served by AMR include Honolulu and the islands of Kauai, Maui and Hawaii. Founded in 1979, AMR Hawaii employs approximately 250 paramedics and EMTs and is responsible for about 28,000 transports annually.
The operation offers basic life support training, advanced life support training, PALS training and NAEMT training classes. If you are interested in training, please contact the operation for more information.
