AMR in the Springfield Community

AMR Springfield provides emergency medical transport service for western Massachusetts. Founded in 1996, AMR Springfield employs approximately 322 paramedics and EMTs and handles about 50,000 calls annually.

AMR Springfield has received numerous awards including Ambulance Service of the Year, Communications Center of the Year, CES Department of the Year, and numerous EMT, intermediate, and Paramedic of the Year awards from Hamden County EMS. The operation offers CPR, junior medic and canine CPR to the local community, as well as, CPR, ACLS, PALS and IFT through our CES Department.
