AMR Ambu-Care Membership Benefits

  • Zero out-of-pocket cost for unscheduled medically necessary ambulance (stretcher) transportation. AMR will bill your insurance company direct for services rendered by AMR. Payment by your insurance is accepted as payment in full for medically necessary unscheduled ambulance transportation. 
  • No age or medical restrictions; one payment of just $85 covers you, your legally married spouse, and anyone else claimed on your taxes as dependents. 
  • Spouses are always covered even if one is at home and the other is residing in a healthcare facility. 
  • No restrictions on how often you use your membership. 
  • Sign up any time and receive one full year of coverage. 
  • You receive a 20% discount on AMR services that are not medically necessary, not covered by insurance or if you have no insurance. 
  • Wheelchair services and non-emergency transfers are not covered by Ambu-Care. 

*Medically Necessary Ambulance Service: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) indicate medical necessity exists when the medical condition of the patient is such that travel by means other than ambulance would harm or endanger their life.
