AMR in the Southwest Mississippi Community

AMR Southwest Mississippi provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport service for the Southwest Mississippi area, including Adams, Amite and Wilkinson Counties. It also serves Concordia Parish, Louisiana, including the incorporated areas of Clayton, Ridgecrest, Ferriday, Monterey and Vidalia, Louisiana. Founded in 1994, AMR Southwest Mississippi employs approximately 56 paramedics and EMTs and handles on average 7,900 calls annually.

AMR Southwest Mississippi now offers Law Enforcement First Response and Rescue Combat Care (LEFRR-CC) training to law enforcement and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) to healthcare providers.
