AMR in the Otero County Community

AMR Otero County provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport services to Alamogordo, New Mexico, along with Holloman Air Force Base, the Sacramento Mountains and Otero County. Founded in 1993, AMR Otero County employs approximately 28 paramedics and EMTs and handles on average 6,000 calls annually.

AMR Otero County is a CAAS accredited operation. It provides EMT classes to local high school seniors as well as monthly continuing education training for the operation's volunteer EMS services. If you are interested in training, please contact the operation for more information.
