AMR in the Otero County Community

At AMR Otero County, our mission is to make a meaningful impact by caring for those who need us most at a moment’s notice. Since opening our doors in 1993, we have remained committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality emergency and non-emergency medical transport services to the residents of Alamogordo and greater Otero County. Our team of approximately 40 dedicated paramedics and EMTs responds to roughly 10,000 calls each year, providing every patient, customer and community partner with professionalism, integrity and unwavering respect. As healthcare providers, we uphold the highest standards of patient care by staying current with evolving medical practices and continuously advancing our clinical skills.

In support of the broader public safety community, AMR Otero County also provides quarterly, 8-hour Continuing Education courses for volunteer agencies across Otero County. These training sessions help ensure local responders remain equipped with current clinical knowledge and best practices.
