AMR in the Central NY Community

As the area’s only CAAS Accredited Ambulance service, AMR of Central NY and its local predecessor companies have set new standards for exceptional medical staff, patient care, safety and community service in our growing Central New York service areas, since 1953.

Our experienced team of paramedics and EMTS respond to more than 76,687 calls each year, serving communities in Onondaga, Cayuga, Madison, Herkimer, Montgomery, Schoharie, Otsego and Chenango Counties. AMR is the primary provider of ambulance service for various communities throughout our six-county service area. In partnership with police, fire, 911, and healthcare organizations, AMR provides a truly integrated approach to the emergency medical needs of our region.
