AMR in the Hunt County Community

For the past 20 years, our Hunt County operation has provided both 911 and non-emergency ambulance services to an area of 840 square miles and a population base of over 85,000 citizens. As a trusted partner with the Hunt Regional Medical Center, AMR Hunt County provides high-quality medical services for residents in Hunt County, including the cities of Greenville, Commerce, Quinlan, Caddo Mills and many other towns and communities. Our caregiver team consists of 30 full-time paramedics and EMT's and 15 part-time personnel, responding to an annual average of 11,300 calls.

The operation is extremely active in the community, offering training programs for disasters, CPR for local residents, and ECA / EMT classes for first responders. One of our successful Community Outreach Innovative Programs called “Keep the Beat”, is specifically designed to increase the survivors of sudden cardiac arrest, teaching compression only CPR to the community. We are proud to say that AMR has trained over 4,000 Hunt County citizens with approximately 338 man hours at no charge. One of our ultimate passions is to educate our local community on how to identify an emergency and what to expect when calling 911. Keep the Beat allows us to provide the community knowledge and techniques aimed at building confidence in all emergency situations.

We take great personal pride in providing Hunt County, surrounding communities and neighbors with the highest levels of emergency care, while ensuring we utilize our proven best practices, state-of-the-art quality assurance programs, advanced training and dedicated local workforce members that value the community they serve daily.
