AMR in the Arlington Community

AMR Washington, D.C. provides non-emergency medical transport service for the Washington, D.C., Maryland and northern Virginia area. The service was founded in 2006. AMR Washington, D.C. employs approximately 62 paramedics and EMTs and handles on average 10,500 calls annually.

AMR Washington, D.C. focuses on providing patient care to Kaiser Permanente’s 500,000 members as well as several other large health systems throughout the area. This operation also provides event stand-by service at a number of national events and foreign embassies.
