AMR in the Clark County Community
AMR Clark County provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport service for Vancouver, Washington, and the surrounding cities of Battle Ground, Ridgefield and La Center. AMR Clark County employs approximately 126 paramedics and EMTs and handles on average 30,000 calls annually.
AMR Clark County is proud to be an employer that champions diversity and inclusion. We are excited to announce our Diversity Recruitment Scholarship program that awards two financial scholarships covering full tuition, course fees and textbooks. The graduates of the program will become licensed Washington EMTs with the option to continue and become Washington paramedics and complete a Paramedic Certificate with a 36-month commitment to AMR. To qualify, applicants must be a racial-ethnic minority and a citizen or legal resident of the United States. Apply today!
Our AMR teams actively participate in a number of leading edge medical technology studies. The operation is currently involved in a resuscitation outcome consortium study aimed at bettering the outcome of cardiac arrest patients. To learn more about this study, visit EMSonline.net.
We also participate in community health fairs, children's bicycle helmet and summer safety awareness events and other community events such as the Clark County Fair and the Fort Vancouver Fourth of July celebration. In partnership with agencies from surrounding areas, AMR Clark County also provides child car seat inspections to ensure safe installation and use.
