AMR in the Spokane Community
AMR Spokane provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport service to the more than 550,000 residents of Spokane County, Washington. AMR Spokane employs approximately 250 Paramedics and EMTs and responds to nearly 100,000 calls annually.
AMR Spokane is dual-accredited, not only maintaining its long-time CAAS accreditation, but also operates an ACE-accredited Communications Center. AMR Spokane regularly takes the lead in introducing new equipment and procedures into the EMS system. The operation provides a large array of training to its partners and the Spokane Community.
In addition, the operation provides support to local and national strike teams including GMR Wildland, Disaster response and Special Pathogens units. AMR Spokane also participates in a variety of health fairs and screenings throughout Spokane County and offers classes on child car seat safety, CPR/first aid, fall prevention and general safety to the public.
