AMR in the Topeka Community
AMR Kansas provides emergency and non-emergency medical transport service for Topeka, Kansas, Shawnee County and Wabaunsee County. Founded in 1983, AMR Kansas employs approximately 100 paramedics and EMTs and averages about 23,500 calls annually.
AMR Kansas is proud of its progressive protocols and clinical excellence. By working closely with local hospitals and emergency/trauma departments the operation has created specialized care programs for STEMI, trauma, cardiac arrest and other acutely ill patients. The operation has also recently introduced a Critical Care Transport program, which provides the highest level of care for the most critical of patients.
