AMR in the Long Island Community
The team at AMR of NY has a single mission: making a difference by caring for people in need. We are caregivers, first and foremost with a promise to treat our patients, customers and teams with respect.
AMR of NY, formerly Hunter EMS, has been designing and implementing strategic programs to better patient throughput and expanding the availability of emergency ambulances to members of the Long Island community. One program, Catholic Health 911 EMS, provides comprehensive paramedic ambulance services.
AMR paramedics and EMTs additionally provide care through interfacility transport, critical care transport, hospice care and standby services for our local high school sporting events.
Our commitment as healthcare providers is to keep abreast of the latest medical procedures and practices for our patients and by inventing new technologies to help our customers meet their objectives.
