As a New York State BLS Course Sponsor, we are offering the following Emergency Medical Technician Original and Refresher training programs.

New York State EMT-B Certificate Program

Emergency Medical Technicians can receive a Basic certification to practice in New York State. The certification is from the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).

Basic EMTs must know basic life support equipment and techniques, such as CPR and defibrillators. They must know how to perform basic services, such as wound treatment and emergency childbirth.

Applicants must meet educational requirements and pass an exam.

New York State EMT Refresher Certificate Program

The EMT-Basic refreshes previously learned material while gaining new knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to be a competent, productive, and valuable member of the emergency medical services team.
